lol....VTEC button. You CAN but not correctly. VTEC is more than just a 12volt switch you know. Timing and fuel maps are also controlled by the ECU when VTEC is engaged. Dont half *** it and get the correct ECU.

yes. but the only thing that will happen is that the cam will switch over. You can use a MSD throttle/RPM switch like they use for nitrous. Just hook it up to power for the VTEC soleniod.
The fuel correction will not happen, however. The cam(s) will switch, and that's all. Just get a correct ECU. You might save around $50-100 doing the switch method....but it's ghetto and your car isn't making the power it should.
You can also use a VAFC and just dyno tune or correct the fuel yourself. But it's costly, and very complicated.
Get the ECU.

Depending upon what ECU you have, you can also simply have it chipped and converted to function as a VTEC ECU with fuel and timing maps of your choosing. That option might save you some money over purchasing an entirely new ECU, and it will also give you the ability to tune your setup at a later date.
