Default can i ignore cel code 10 (IAT)?

car is a 97 ex coupe with a built ls/vtec jumped to obd1.

i hardwired in the gsr iat and it has been running perfectly for a month and about 300 miles now all of a sudden on a ahrd pull today shifting at 7k from 1-4th the cel popped on and showed code 10.

what could this mean exactly? the sensor was brand new when i built the motor.

the car still seems to run/drive just fine....

lemme know what you think!

check wiring and check that the sensor doesn't have **** on the nipple. i'd never drive around w/o putting an effort into fixing it, but that's me and i'm supremely ****.

How did you hardwire in the sensor? One wire to the ecu and one wire to ground?
