Default Can I drive (move) my EG with the airbags disconnected?

I placed the red plug into the harnesses as stated in the manual. Can I drive the car into the garage safely? I should of pulled the dash in the garage, but the sunshine was too nice

I don't want the bag to go off if the car is started. Now that I think about it.... it (Helms) doesn't mention anything about starting the car with the bags unplugged like it states 3 or 4 times to make sure the red plug is installed before dropping the steering column.

Anyone know for sure if this is ok?
Driveway is on a slant and my skiny *** is not strong enough to push it back in the garage even with the hood, fenders, doors, and complete interior removed
Well, I don't think at least..... I'll give it a try

Never mind, underestimated myself. Took a hard effort, but I managed to push it up into the garage

if its unhooked, theres a good chance it wont go off, just to save you some pushing in the future

no there wouldn't have been a problem driving the car with the airbags unplugged the only thing that would have happened is the sensor would notice there was a problem in the system so the light on the dash would have remained on

no you can plug/unplug the sensors as much as you want....and once you connect them all back the srs light will turn off every time no exceptions.

Maybe ya'll should check your muffler bearings, turn signal fluid and then change the summer air to the winter air in your tires..JUST A TIP FROM WYOTECHS FINNEST! Airbags are electronically armed and if the plug is not connected it cant go off. READ YOUR HELMS MANUAL AGAIN

Yes, if you unplug the airbags it is okay to drive the car. It isn't legal, but the car will drive fine.

make sure you disconnect the battery before removing any airbag! let the car sit for like 5 min with no power then mess with the airbags. my buddy had a bad run in with that
