I have a p28 socketed and chipped. My buddy (beat-her) is having problems with his swap and I am seeing if I can chip my ECU to run p75 (obd1 ls)? Is it okay since the ecus have different resistors and ****?

If you have something like Uberdata and a chip burner than yeah, just load the LS bin to the burner, erase the chip, burn the LS bin, and pop the chip back into your ECU.

Completely safe. If I ever swap to a B18 I'm keeping my socketed P28 and just reburning the chip.
Just make sure that whatever bin you burn has all of the VTEC stuff disabled so you don't throw any codes.
