Can a body shop fix this or do I need a new tailgate?

Move this to a/c if you don't think it fits here. Just trying to find out if there is something a shop can do.

yeah thay can..but i would jus get a new one..go to the junkyard..

seen worse, they can fix it. You may need new plastic insert depending on how pushed in it is.

Just weigh the costs of getting it repaired Vs getting a new one and having it painted.

I don't think the EG tailgates have a plastic insert, it's all one piece.

definitely fixable. i'm with VERO.... just weigh the costs of getting repaired or replaced and painted.

and from the looks of your license plate, you are a scout. good to see another around here, i'm an eagle myself.

see how much it would cost to fix, or for a new one first, if its the same price as a CF one, then it time to upgrade. Plus u dont have to paint CF

thought it as an EK first time I looked at it. Anyways...

If you look between the plate bulbs, there are 2 screws. I dont feel like going to look at my 93 Cx right now since it is dark and cold.

If it is 1 piece, it may be a bit more if that cracked area broke metal. In which case you might be better off getting a new piece.

Or hell, carbon fiber hatches are comming down.

Can be easily fixed, will need to be repainted tho to make it look like new tho cause I can already see the paint chipping off.

its fixable. the hard part is the crease in the gate. it all depends on how good you are with a body hammer and dolly. it is fixable it will just take time and patience
