Default Can anything from a b18a swap be reused in a b18c swap?

if i buy a honda already with b18a swap in it would it be worth it vs buying a standard honda or shell to then go and swap a b18c into? just wondering because i see the complete kits for the b18c swap around 2500 or so but i was wondering if i'd save a little grabbin one already swapped just not with the motor i want. or is there a different swap like the b18b or something that i'd have to change less.

Are you kidding? Compare the specs of the two engines and ask that again. No one can tell you what you'd save.

i dont need to know a number just wanted to know if anything from the swap b18a would be able to be reused in the swap to b18c if not then i'm just gunna buy a shell or a regular civic with factory engine instead of throwing the little extra for the already swapped b18a civic

It depends on what car the b18a is in

Don't seem to see this info in your first post. Or it wasn't clear at all. All I saw was "is it worth it?"

the b18a is in a 1994 civic but what would be reusable in the swap to b18c just motor mounts? someone else said "If it's already swapped, running, and driving them yes it would be easier to buy a b18a/b swapped Honda then to buy a stock one/shell and swap the engine you want in to it."
so my guess is the mounts are atleast reusable, the big thing i dont wanna have to replace is the wiring harness

You'll need a new ECU (P72), wire up the extra sensors (VTEC, knock, IAB's), and honestly if you want the best performance you'll want a GSR transmission although not required. For the B18B you'll just swap engine for engine as long as its the same car.

so for the B18a i just need to wire in the (VTEC, knock, IAB's) and ecu and for the b18b just switch motor cuz those sensors are already there? and either trans would work from the B18a/b to the B18c?

Yes as long a the B18C is complete. Either trans would bolt to the b series.
