Re: (JICEK9)
Sam - i'd rather lose the deal than just straight lose my money. im not that stupid. first, i looked at your previous posts and noticed that some granny driver smashed into one of those volks. hmm.. i like how you didn't mention that to me. plus, nobody can vouch for you, your not paypal verified, you sent me "your brother in law's" ebay feedback (i suppose you don't know his password to provide a reply to my inquiry ), and you stressed money order only several times. also, you didn't want to go w/ the escrow service, which highly aroused my suspicion, and was a good hint as to your plans. you seemed pretty cool and everything, and sure, there was a good chance that i would have sent you the money and received some nice wheels @ a good price in return, but the fact that you wanted a money order only really peturbed me. furthermore, there's well over 30 pages of people getting scammed by exactly the same method ("yah, send me a money order and ill send you ____" ... right.) - ill be dammed if i become one more. if you default on your end, i'm completely fucked. i almost went to the bank and sent you a money order, but when you suddenly claimed that you needed another $100 for shipping, and that was what you told me from the beginning ( NOT TRUE ), all of your credibility **** the bed; and all of my trust went right out the window with it. so, if you haven't figured out by now, i never sent you the money, and good luck "selling" the wheels. nuff said...

Re: (jwn7)
I got another set with that insurance money..So your lost, PAL. Remember I have the receipt to prove it.....So too bad, John....Don't be too paranoid about what had happened to others on this type of situation, because most of us aren't like that.PERIOD. I gave you my number and my address so what's your problem..... I don't know why your paranoid about money orders, because first of all I wanted the WHOLE amount. I have an premier paypal account and I PERSONALLY KNOW that they take a CUT of the money and I wouldn't want that loss. SO I OPENED A NEW PERSONAL ACCOUNT which was not verified so that they would not take a percentage of the money. You should have known that the fee would have been '2.9% + $0.30' which would have meant that paypal would have taken '1500 * 0.029 + 0.30 = $43.80' ...which is a lot of money (http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...eiving-outside). Since you claim to be PAYPAL VERIFIED you should have known that. Same exact thing with Escrow...I wanted the whole amount. So **** off about the whole money order.
And in the ad I personally said 'cash' so why change it? If you didn't like my ad then why BEG?
jwn7 (11:24AM 9/27/2003): come on!!! ship em to me! i really want
these wheels
jwn7 (1:28 AM 9/28/2003): ship em to me! please, really want these
wheels
(https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=624362) <---- Begging
and then.....
(2:47 AM 9/27/2003) hardboiled egz: where are you located?? I live out in CA....and I don't want to ship...sorry bro
(11:19 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: im in pittsburgh
(11:19 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: why the hell not
(11:19 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: come on
(11:19 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: ill pay you for shipping
(11:24 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: its not that big of a deal to ship em
(11:25 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: pretty please!
(11:26 AM 9/27/2003) jwn7: just put em in some boxes and go down to ups thats all
See that? What did I first tell you? I didn't want to ship but you begged, begged, and begged.
Also, before I actually weighed the rims I gave you that amount. Then when I put on one rim w/ the tire on the scale it came out to 30lbs w/o the box. With the box it came out to 35lbs...almost 40lbs. With the dimensions and the weight of the box the price came out to about $50 a rim. Thats way too much so I didn't want to lose that much money. So get off my SAC!
So thats my whole reason for the money order its the whole amount. If you wanted to pay extra then paypal would have been fine. I was just trying to help you out.
Can you hear me now?
