Can anyone tell me what this is?????????
OK i am going to install my head unit in the lower din area of my 97 civic and i was wondering if you all could go to this site http://www.jdmfan.com/technical/cosm...aresi_vafc.jpg and tell me what the gray stuff is around that thing. any ideas about anyhting else i can do to make it look good and flush like this??????? he probably just used some type of plastic to cover the vtec controller, ive seen people use cardboard and just spray paint it

looks like foam.... what i seen used to give it a stock look.... is some plastic stuff that audio shops use when they have to make a custom metra kit for stereos.... its made out of hard plastic....
