can anyone help me with waterpump issue? please
My car is running hot sometimes and i figured it would be the radiator, hoses or water pump. i checked for leaking under radiator but the place isabove oil pump.
the question i have is.... has someone ever changed their own waterpump at home or should i pay a shitload of money to get it done?
if someone has can you give me some advice please. i have to do it tomorrow. its my only day off in a week and a half. thanks

if your not good with cars dont do it you have to mess with your t-belt. if ur not sure you can do it dont..... and if you bring it someplace you might as well have them change the t-belt at the same time they will be in there anyhow

depending on your mechanical abilities, i would suggest changing the pump yourself via H-T and a helm's manual.....it comes out alot cheaper than paying somebody to change it and then re-install the timing belt
you are leaking fluid under the timing side of the motor? sounds like the water pump, or the seal around the water pump......either way, get it fixed soon becuase you do not want to run hot with no fluid during the summer

i second that, get a helm for like 60-70 and have a little fun
