Default can anybody identify this part?

i'm doing an automatic to manual conversion and i found this spring randomly in my driver section of the vehicle. (picture below) i have no idea where it came from.

i'm thinking it was part of the old automatic SELECT LEVEL from my del sol S. (picture below). what to you people think? any help is appreciated.

it has about 3 coils on it.

i was thinking the pedals but i haven't even touched them yet. we only took out the throttle cable.

i'm only using the clutch pedal from a manual 95 EX. civic. that spring looks like it doesn't belong with the gas or brake pedal. and the closest was the spring on the clutch but there's one attached.

i've been looking at the parts list on hondaautomotiveparts.com for the the del sol manual and automatic and that part isn't anywhere to be found lol. that shift level or the pedals is my best bet... but i have no idea where it goes.

looks somewhat like the throwout bearing return spring if you ask me. but from the picture it's hard to tell the size and everything on it.

i've done all of that hondaautomotiveparts.com search. i know for sure it isn't from the brake (too thick) or gas (round). it will not fit on either.

i have a pedal assembly from a 90 crx and a 95 ex civic, which is what i'm leaning towards. it has 3 coils on it. the crx 1 is missing a return spring while the 95 ex has 1 already.

doubt it's from the seat but i wll check.

It all comes together when you order the parts used from someone.
