Default Can anybody help this girly girl w/ my 93 honda clutch???

My clutch in my honda is really loose until I am about an inch away from the bottom of my car. Also my gears are tight like I can't get it in gear. But if I pump on my clutch pedal a little bit I can get my car into 1st gear but its real hard. Can anybody help me....please?

Assuming this is a hydro clutch, I want you to check your clutch fluid level in the reservoir. If it's noticeably low, you probably have a leak. Find out...

Clutch mast cylinder check around it for leaks.... the rubber seal tends to rip.... go under your dash and stick you hand up by the clutch and follow it up to the firewall feel around in that area and see if you end up with a greasy residue on ur hand... such as brake fluid etc.

check your master cylinder, might be leaking from the fire wall on the inside part( behind the carpet/insulation - fire wall) if so replace it, but also buy the slave cylinder too. usually when one goes out, the other one goes out to. Well that is what happen to me FYI.

if its not your slave cylinder its most likely your clutch.
are your gears grinding alot or do you just have to muscle it into gear?

If you gotta muscle it into gear it could be 1 of 2 things. one your clutch or pressure plate has failed on you. 2 you could have bent a shifter fork.

If its grinding alot and hard to get into gear could be your synchro's goin out pretty quick on you.

Try bleeding the system before purchasing any non-returnable merchandise, if air gets into the system it can cause some problems. Bleed it, it is very easy to do and free.
