Camshaft Question
I was wondering if anyone knew if the the Zex Camshaft 59100 would fit my Civic 2000 Ex. The person I'm buying it from said that the camshaft will fit D16z6 92-95ex/si Honda Civics motors & the D16y8 sohc vtec civics IF used with the z6/92-95 camgear(advanced 5degrees).
I was wondering if I could use this in my car with a AEM camgear.
Edit* - Also, this is the Stage 1 camshaft, right? I've heard it's pretty good for street use... should I get it?

Re: Camshaft Question (crazy_ham)
i have the stage 2, comp 59300, i love it, its really worth it. if you get a cam gear you should get one for a z6 otherwise you will loose a lot of tuning if you get one made for a y8(as it has to be advanced 5 degrees to be at 0). other than that it should all work. i would suggest the stage 2, i use it with stock valvetrain and its been working fine for more than 1000 miles. if you do rev over 7400rpm with this cam it becomes dangerous and you could mess something up pretty badly, unless you get the springs and retainers.
edit: yes thats the stage one camshaft. mine is the stage two, both are made by comp cams licensed by zex, or something like that.
