Default Cams, valvesprings, retainers oh my. Everyone please look.

Were going to be doing headwork on my girlfriends car next week. However I want to drop in a new can, titanium valve springs & retainers at the same time. It will be full headwork. Valve angle, match port everything. My problem is I am having trouble finding all the right stuff for it. It's a SOHC v-tec motor DZ16z........I went to crower and they don't exactly list anything for it. I need to get the stuff quick. Also I want the big cam.

alright, thank you....what would you suggest though? I like the big *** crower cams, that require head work, but they're for dohc motors.

I'd recommend the SOHC crane cam...dunno when it'll be out (don't even know if it's out already) so you should probably contact crane. I'm not a big fan of regrinds as I've seen them fail with time. If you're looking for reliability, look into the cams that use new cores. Also check out http://www.zex.com (I think that's the site) as I think they already have cams out for the d16z6's. Good luck.

The Bullfrog cams that are made by Gude are pretty good. At least that's my opinion.

Also, you can have her ECU (P28) reprogrammed by a company such as Hondata. Very expensive though.
