well, i went to pull out my camshafts today on my b16a2 and, one of the middle camplate bolts is stuck. its actually stripped either on the bolt threads or the threads in the head. the bolt will only come out halfway, and after that, you can just keep turning it counterclockwise and it will just keep spinning with no progress on coming out.........................now, my question is....................how do i get this camplate bolt out?

anyone think heating it up with a blow torch, then, trying to wrench it out is a good idea?

Take it to a machine shop and let them do it!

try to just pull it out. if its stripped your going to have to re thread it any way. small wrench that can fit under the head of the bolt and tap it out with a hammer, then re thread the head

have someone pull up on the bolt with some pliers or a wrench, like someone previously said, while you wrench it out. depending on the damage, u may need a heli-coil set and/or a new bolt. One or the other will be damaged.
