Camming a d16z6
Hi guys im fairly new on here. I'm thinking about getting a cam for my car. The cam im thinking of getting has a 280 profile.
What i would like to know is were would i see the gains in the rev range.
Would i lose power or torque any were, and is there another civic what i can fit a cam from.

from what i know and have been told from most d16z6 owners is that camming a relatively stock d16z6 wont have much affect. Given the rediculously high prices these cams go for your probably better off going with other bolt ons

Yep, boost it.
An n/a d with just a cam is like a blow job with a condom. Kinda cool, but still sucks.
You need all the other stuff to work with it, valves, retainers, pistions, rods to really make a difference.
Even then a stock b16 will own you.
