Default Camber kit Question.

Hey, a friend of mine has a 95 Si coupe which he lowered a while ago. He's having trouble with the usual irregular tire wear. I was just wondering which camber kits you'd all suggest? Also I hear that you can go without the camber kit on the rear.....apparently there's another way of fixing the problem there???
Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

In the rear control arm you can place a washer or two on each of the bolts between the frame and the arm. I cannot recall what size they were though... Don't recomend using more than two though.

skunk2 and ingalls are both good..im not sure how much an ingalls kit corrects but im sure that skunk2 kits correct from -4 to +4...which is a lot of help to those who raise and drop their car often...and depending how bad his camber is...find out how much the ingalls corrects..

GOOD LUCK!

mps9506...you can use washers in the rear-but it depends on how bad your camber is...i tried that trick on my CIVIC..it barely corrected it and my rear tires still cambered a lot...

well...it'll probably work for cars dropped with spring..or with a drop of about 2-2.5...as for me..i'm a low freak and had my coilovers down to like a 4-5 inch drop...maybe that's why those washers didnt work

Yeah, it worked fine for me, eibach sportlines....
I'll find out about the washer sizes, I think each washer is supposed to compensate 1 degree of camber or there abouts, it's not very exact... If you want something more adjustable or exact go with an adjustable rod.

just have him get an alignment and get it his toe set back to factory specs. That is what wears out your tires, not entirely camber.

But a combination of heavy camber and toe will wear your tires even faster.

I have the skunk arms and had my camber adjusted to -1.7 on each side for autocross purposes. I added one washer in the back and my rear cabmer is -1.5

Im not sure how low my car is, but on my ek the rear tires are tucked about 1/4 inch into the fender.
