to camber kit or not to camber kit???
i am considering buying a rear camber kit for my EK with 195/50/15 wheels, as far as i can tell the rear is much worse then the front. I rotate the tires regularly but still have uneven tire wear on the insides only, but not the outsides of the tires. Should i get a camber kit to correct the rear and is it even worth it? Ingalls is like $105 per wheel, but then there is the screw + washer adjustment which i can get anywhere for dirt cheap....is there any difference? For thoses of you who have done either or what were the results? Good? Bad? Also my EK is pretty low but not extremely low to the point where i scrap everything but if im eye level with the tire theres about less than a centimeter of space between wheel and inner fender.

There is NO reason to pay $100+ for those rear camber kits!
Go to Pep Boys get the bolts then to Home Depot for the washers.
I've heard stories about Ingalls and other kits squeeking, but with the washer / bolt trick NONE of that bs!
Best $6 spent

I have NO experience with the $100+ camber kits and have no reason to since the $7 kits have worked fine on 2 cars that are in the family, and my boy's civic as well.

i've had an alignment done when i put on the 15" wheels, so doesnt that fix the toe specs. I always assumed when you go in for an alignment they fix all of that, but anyways does anyone know the stock toe specs for a 00 HB?

from my front lip its around 5inches and from my front wheel there is almost no gap between tire and inner fender wall (under 1 cm) but you can still see a little it of the other side of the inner fender wall. And for the rear there is no gap in which you can see the other side of the inner fender wall.

i've heard that the washer/bolt trick messes up the toe, but i'm not sure. COuld you confirm this since you've done this before. DId you get an alignment to correct toe if so?

i run a rear but no front kit on my ek. it's at least 2.5 inches down and the front camber is less than one degree out of spec.
do the rear kit because it's cheap, but anytime you have a low car and you add a camber kit, there is potential for more tire rub.
with the rear kits i'm at like -1.5 degrees all around i think.. maybe 1.2 in the rear.
either way, make sure the toe is as close as possible, the shop should have that spec in their computer.
