Camber Kit???
I recently bought a 99 Civic Si with aftermarket springs/shocks. The front wheels butterfly pretty badly, and I'd like to fix that before I buy new tires and ruin them again... My local preformance shop offers a kit for $180 which seems a little expensive. I've seen alot of kits on ebay for ALOT LESS and my question is, is there a difference in quality and what should i look for? (brand names?)
Thanks.
Thanks.

yay you could cut your springs too.... no offence but sticking washers in the back just seems like the half assed cheap way to do it.... much like cutting springs to lower your car. With all the money most people here are dumping into their cars why not just spend a little more to do **** right? Experience will usually show that taking the cheap road will usually end up with cheap results. Something good to keep in mind when spending money on anything.

Skunk2 it is, and make sure that you are getting the newest production of the Skunk2 camber kit. I believe the old kit had problems w/ premature wear of the ball joint.

It's easy... if you know what you're doing.

Re: Camber Kit??? (Spoon)
If you call the washer a "shim" you will desribe what is used at the FACTORY and by alignment shops to adjust all aspects of suspension geometry as described by the manufacturer on lots of vehicles.
Cliff Notes.
Washers work great in the rear because the washers work great.

Re: (makaveli284)
If you tires rub now, a camber kit will make them rub worse assuming you want to set your camber closer to zero then it is now.
