Default Cam timing experts -> Pics Inside ->

Ok guys I need your assistance. I just got done removing my valve cover and rotating the crank to what looks like TDC. Is everything ok?

It is an LS swap in an EG and we redid the timing belt before dropping it in. It feels slower than the damn d15 that was previously in there. The dizzy needed to be rotated all the way towards the front of the car for the ignition timing to be dead on. The exhaust cam is not lined up directly with the mark on the head it looks to be a little off while the intake cam looks to be dead on. Any suggestions or advice?

your crank is between TDC and 16ºBTDC....

A tooth off perhaps?

That's what I figured but I was second guessing myself. No wonder I could only pull a 15.8

Anybody else confirm this? Not that I should second guess anymore than I already am just curious what others think.

Would that hurt performance? I guess the ideal situation would be retarding intake cam and advancing exhaust cam.
