Default cam swap

i have a d15b and my friend has a skunk2 stage 1 cam just laying around i was wondering if i can put that cam in my motor in a couple of weeks i will be lowering the compression on my motor to 8.5-1 so i want to know will it hit a valve or will i just not fit

Stage 1 cams from Skank usually don't require changing the valvetrain so there should be enough valve relief. Don't quote me on that though. Your best bet is to call the tech line at Stunk2 and verify it with them before installing it.
