HX has VTEC-E, totaly different from VTEC. that guy is dumb. HX uses a DX cam. only thing your "VTEC" does is activate extra valves. you run around on 12, then 16 when you hit VTEC. no duration or lift beifits buddy. get a EX head.

or better yet, a 3 stage VTEC head from japan. it has both the benifits of VTEC-E (fuel economy) and VTEC (performance) in one. oh prob is you need to get the harness with it to run the 2nd set of vtec wires (it has 2 vtec solenoids) or just just run your own wires and plugs, and find the ECU (most where automatics, 5-speed ECUs i was told are kinda rare).
anyway, just a thought.

Re: cam swap?????? (95CivicSi)
i was told that the ony differnce between my vtec and an ex's...is that it jstuy opens differnet valves at differnt times....one for power one for fuel economy....so theoretically i cant take that cam, ecu, and the tranny out of an si, and put that all in my car...it would probably take a little wrench work...but i think its possible
