Caliper Mount is too big for my HX wheels...!
I have a 94 civic ex and I just got tires on my hx wheels. When they went to put it on my car we realized that they caliper mount rubs against my wheel. Has anyone else had this problem??? Its not too bad, I think that spacers could help. Where could i buy 1 piece spacers for my car... its just the front wheels. Anyone have experience with this??? help

yes, cause hx wheel are 14 inch. ex caliper and rotor are made for 15 inch wheel. you need to modify(shave) your caliper to get it fit.

WTF dude.....nobody has a CLUE what they are talking about.
EX's were made to fit with 14 inch wheels...hence the 14 inch steelies with hubcaps. Only problem with the HX wheels is that the offset pushes the spokes closer to the calipers. Grind some off the caliper, or go the safe route and run a 5mm spacer and you'll be good to go.
We run HX wheels over Si/GSR brakes all the time. Just need to push the wheel out a tad or remove some from the caliper.

most custom import shops, wheel shops, or H&R dealers can get you spacers.
I only use H&R spacer....have a 3/4 inch hubcentric set and a 5 mm set

yeah, the EX's brakes were made to fit under a 14 inch wheel...it's just the offset of the HX spokes which makes them come in contact with the bigger calipers

Will 1/8 of an inch spacer be enough? (approx a little more than 3 mm) - i wont need longer bolts right?

as I recall my buddy used 3mm spacers, so 1/8 should be fine....but I'd go 5mm just to be same and have more clearance.....
Your stock wheel studs ahould be fine........

be sure to check that your lugs are torqued correctly twice as often when you have a spacer. I almost got whacked by a wheel working the corner at an autox.

That did the same thing when I threw hx's on my si. Just about any custom rim shop will have spacers.....now they wont be hubcentric. I picked my spacers up for a grand total of 10 bucks.
