caliper lock up
Like the title says, only its only going forward, it spins freely backwards (reverse). I'm confused, i really don't understand why that would happen, i have new slides, greased, and i would think if the piston was seized it wouldn't spin in ether direction. E-brake issue? It works, and seems to release, the lever and spring move freely, maybe the internal mechanism is stuck?

Re: rear caliper lock up
The caliper is hard mounted, how would i move it? Oh wait, i think i see now, are you suggesting take the caliper off the rotor and see if it spins? Yeah, when i was putting everything back together it spins in both directions fine. Originally i thought the e brake was stuck, because it had been sitting on for a good while, but it seems to move freely. Then once i took the calipers apart i noticed that the pins hadn't been greased and were seized, so i replaced the pins, but no avail..

Re: caliper lock up
Ok, all figured out, as well, it was every caliper, i don't think sitting for as long as it did helped my situation ether.... The parking brake was sticking a little bit rear drivers side, but broke it free. Otherwise, i just took the calipers off all corners and pressed the pistons in, let them come out, pressed them back in and held them for a minute, greased all the pins and contacts on the pads and shims and i'm golden, no more seizing. However, the fluid is looking pretty poor, need to get some russels speed bleeders and do work.
