Default california state ref question about my car

ok well i got a state ref ticket about a month ago, today i got the ticket in the mail and it says "mandatory appearance required" and im assumning this is due to it being my 2nd state ref ticket.. first time i just paid the fee for it and got away. but this time it doesnt give me the option to do so. so wat are my choices now? i got the state ref ticket because my msd ignition, i have the bar sticker with me for that, would i be able to take that with me and get away with it? my car is turbo charged but apperntly he missed the turbo and busted me for my msd lol. if i take it to trial and assume he shows up and i have the bar sticker, whats my chances of gettin away? anyone with personal experiances please let me knoww.. thanks also this is in sacramento, ca

if you have the sticker your legit and legal.
otherwise go to the Ref and have him pass you.

yesm he will inspect all.
Go to court on your date, tell judge it was legal, you will never have to see the ref, providing you win. if you bring the sticker for what he wrote you up for, you win hands down

Don't mind me chiming in because I may be wrong but, isn't the california state ref closed? Unless it was recently re opened I don't think you should have anything to worry about =P

::EDIT:: Nevermind...State ref stations reopened on the 8th. I just looked it up
