Default CAI water cover?

I cannot find it anywhere. Yes I searched also. I am looking for what I think is made by INJEN. It's a cover that goes over your filter, but it isn't water proof. It just helps keeping the water out. If anyone can link me to a site that sells them would be great

its really not necessary, unless you plan on driving through a puddle that will submerge your intake completely. that puddle is pretty deep to. Do a litte research on people hydrolocking there motors. it is really rare. unless you want it for the bling yo! lol

Umm, no. I was riding in a car when the engine hydrolocked, and there were no deep puddles anywhere around. The filter was nowhere close to being submerged.

care to elaborate? I read up alot on it before i purchased my CAI, and really came to this conclusion. I am earnestly interested in your story though. what intake, what engine, what car, what filter??

AEM CAI, B18C1, '94 Integra GSR, AEM filter. No fender liner. Bent connecting rods and valves.

hmm, i think having a fender liner would have saved you in that case. But owell. that sucks, i will be sure to take this into consideration next time i advise someone about CAI and hydrolocking

same set up. No fender liner also. I think that was the problem. Never fully submerged, just splashes of water collected along the curb.
