cai rattling...
My CAI is resting on my shock tower causing it to rattle at idle.... (makes a rattling glove box sound)
Just wondering if there was an easy way to fix it?

Re: cai rattling... (desync)
it's not your cai, its a poisonous snake under the hood.....run for your life!!
either adjust the cai so it's not resting on the shock tower or put something inbetween the cai and shock tower (small piece of dynamat perhaps).

Re: cai rattling... (2CAMSAAM)
Gee thanks for the help 2cams =P
It's a no name intake off of an 89 crx that I picked up for $40 with a K&N. Works great and fit's fine except for rubbing on the shock tower when idleing.
Sorry for wanting suggestions to fix it witout making it look ghetto, next time I'll post a how-to on fixing it with duct tape, that make ya happy?

Re: cai rattling... (desync)
I wasn't trying to be an *** but there really isn't anything else you can do(cheaply). Seriously, if it's resting on the shock tower (ie. cai is on top), put a piece of dynamat onto the intake where it can't be seen. Anything else would require welding a bracket onto the intake and unless you can do that yourself ......... If you can't see it, it's only a little ghetto . Do what you have to to get the rattle to go away and worry about the way it looks later (I really hate rattles).......
