cable and hydro
lets use a first gen b16, i have a 94 hatch, supposed to use a cable tranny on a first gen, but my 94 is supposed to use a hydro, now could i use a first gen in my hatch and use like a gsr tranny that's hydro? can i use that shift linkage, i guess my question is can i use a hydro tranny on a cable motor?

i believe the hydros have a larger clutch but as long as you change that too you're good to go... someone with more knowledge should have any answer for you soon.

i have a b16a sir-1 from cable tranny. b18b clutch, b18c1 tranny. the motor has all obd1 sensors and plugs. runs fine on a chipped p28 in my 93 hatch. btw, u need all the mounts from a teggy.

i know that when we ordered B16a1's they were cable, we use a cable to hydro kit, cost is 185, comes as direct bolt in and change over.. just install and we're able to go hydro..
