Default A/C Question

Yesterday I posted that 2 wks. ago my a/c was blowing hot hair. The a/c man replaced a fuse and condensor motor and all seemed well. Now it's out again and replacing a fuse didn't help it. The a/c man did electrical checks today and said it was the wiring in the compressor. Maybe this is a stupid question but IS THERE SOMEWAY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM TEMPORARILY? It is so hottttttt where I live but I plan to get rid of this car ('94 Civic nearing 200,000 miles) in a couple of months and don't want to spend $700+ to do a compressor. Any suggestions?

Default Re: A/C Question (judyj)

Not for the a/c ,but you could get one of those fans that plugs into the cig lighter that should help a little. As far as the a/c goes I doubt there is any short term cheap fix . Hope that helps
