A/C problems - won't recharge
Hey all, I'm have troubles with my A/C system and was hoping I could get some help.
Well, first I have a '96 del Sol Si. When turning on the A/C for long periods of time, it doesn't get cold, which made me think it needed more 134a. I disharged whatever air/refrigerent was originally in there and tried to refill it, but nothing goes in. I have the car running with the A/C on max, but nothing. I'm hoping it's not the compressor.
If anyone has input, that'd be great. Good thing the roof comes off since the A/C isn't working.

Re: A/C problems - won't recharge (dose)
Eh, I'm too lazy to remove the A/C... atleast at the moment.
And no, I didn't vaccum the system, I just took the recharge hose, put it on the low-side fitting and let the air come out. Figured it since it was letting the 'ish out, it was being drained.
And as for taking it to a shop, funds don't currently permit that... besides, with the targa, it's not a big issue, I'd just like to have the A/C.
Thanks for the help thus far. Any other suggestions?
