Default c-pillar bars?

Anyone have a c-pillarbar in there hatch and did you notice anything. Looks like it'd hit the passengers heads if you stomped on the gas with one?

i did notice a difference with mine. I have the emracing c pillar bar. And it has a quick release mount so if you need to put people in the backseat it just unclips.

I have one in my 93 hatch, it sits far enough back that no one would hit their head on it.

I was just checking out the ebay ones for 45 bones. How much better can they get? I mean it's a metal bar with a bracket at each end!

Mine is J's Racing. A few years ago, me and Opi and some others did a group buy through Yasu of ATS usa, he hooked us up really good. A lot of companies started making them recently. I like that quick release on the EM version.

really what you are paying for is the mount, For instance the emracing mount is machined from a solid chunk of aliminum. while the cheaper bars i seen are made from a cheap stamped steal.

Also kinda of the subject but is only the front strut bar available in the mugen style? I'm just trying to figure out what kind to get for the upper front and back and lower?

my current bar set up is the neuspeed front, emracing 5 bar set up in the rear with a spoon lower which i think is poop., i would get the skunk 2 instead. I use to use the spoon rear upper which in it own right is a good rear upper but i sold that in favor of the emracing 5 bar set up.

4dr ef, hell yeah, I've got one in my garage that I was planning on using as my winter beater but turned into a project along with my crx. Though I'm trading the crx for a eg hatch and hopefully ditching the ef9 for some pocket change.
