A/C not blowing in center vents...please help

A/C not blowing in center vents...please help
Just got this 96 Civic EX and found that the A/C works nice , but the center vents don't blow at all, al the air goes to the side vents, and the defrost vents under the windshield,
any one had this problem before? any ideas where to start looking?

Already push the vent button, but doesn't work, how can i check the climate control?
i was checking the service manual, but it looks like 96 doesn't have climate control, it does have a vent button, i think i'll try to find some info about it, any more tougths?
