a/c not blowing air at all
Hi guys, i have another problem to fix! My a/c system isnt working and i dont know where or how to begin troubleshooting. The car has all a/c lines/ condensor/compressor w/ belt, but it doesn't blow air inside the car even though i've moved the slide to 4 on the control. heres what i know:
-was told when i bought the car the a/c wouldn't work(well he was right lol)
-verified 99% of a/c components are there (everything seems in place)
-a fuse or two may be missing from under dash panel
-no blown fuses under hood
- no pressure at all inside a/c lines

So, the blower fan doesn't work? That has nothing to do with the AC and more to do with the fan or the fan position switch in the cabin.
Am i missing something??

no, i just dont know where to start, not sure what to check first. when i move the slide from off to 1-4 nothing blows out of my vents. where/ how can i begin to check the fan for the car? btw its a 94 civic

i dont hear anything, also i noticed none of the button lights turn on when buttons pushed; no green light for a/c button or orange lights for recirculate, etc.
i am missing dash fuses 13 & 20 (in case they're related)
but no fan noise or air flow whatsoever

Then that's not a problem with the AC...its a problem with your fan not working, which is a different issue entirely (albeit much simpler).
Time to start checking fuses.

Re: a/c not blowing air at all
Under-dash Fuse 13 (7.5A) is related to the A/C thermostat, heater control panel, etc.

Re: a/c not blowing air at all
alright, excellent! just popped a temporary 10a fuse in #13 and BAM blows air now!! its weaker than should be on all 4 settings though, i pulled the blower motor resistor and its looks pretty ... charred i think would describe it, real grey and the ... the stuff that kinda looks like glue on it is cracked. you think if i replace it itll fix the air flow prob?
