You mean a 97 USDM Honda Civic and not the 97 JDM EK, right?

The 97 GS-R and the 2000 Si use the same Denso compressor, [38810-P9K-E01] and bracket.
The 97 Civic uses a Sanden, [38810-P2F-A01] and a totaly different bracket.

With a GS-R swap into a 2000 Civic, you will need to use the 2000 Civic lines and components, [condensor, [a 97 civic condensor is the same] condensor fan, filter/dryer] the evaporators are the same for the 97 Civic and 97 Integra, [80210-SR1-A12] but the 2000Si uses a differant one, [80215-ST3-G11], most likely because the 2000 has a cabin filter, you of course will need the 2000Si evaporator and housing.

With mods you can use the lines from any of the cars or from any number of Honda /Acura, but the ones from a 2000 SI will fit the best, the suction and discharge lines, [the ones on the compressor] must fit the compressor, the 97 Civic lines will not work with out mods if at all.

As you can see by the parts pic, all the lines have to connect to each other and the components, those connection points need to match up, and that is always a problem when you mix and match, the less you do that the better. 94

Keep the original A/C compressor from the 2000 Civic Si... you should be able to bolt the original A/C bracket from the Si to the GSR engine block, or use a GSR A/C bracket. The Si basically uses the Integra type A/C parts (with a different condenser and a couple lines), whereas, all other '96-00 Civics use Civic type A/C parts.

So my EJ8 has a 99' discharge line and rubs on the fan housing. it now has a hole in it =\ Is there a different option to the 99 style discharge line that fits my car or should i get another 99 and just put some kind of rubber sleeve around the line and maybe bend the fan housing?

If you can't find the si lines, use the d series compressor, d series lines and the 97-01 ctv ac mount.

I have a 99 EX that I just put in a b16b and I kept the d series ac components with the crv ac mount.
