Default A/c help!

so i bought my car without an A/c belt and i finally got around to putting it in last week... a couple days later the belt snapped off.... i bought a a/c idler pully because it looked like it needs replacing.. so right now when i was going to put in the idler pully and put on the belt, and the a/c compressor clutch pully or whatever it is called is no good because of the bearings, can i just buy the clutch? or should i replace the whole compressor ?

You can just buy the clutch set.

If the system is charged then you can just do the clutch and you won't lose the freon. If the system is empty and needs redone anyway you might be better off with a whole new compressor...it is often very little more than just buying the clutch. Then you just have to worry about vacuuming down, accumulator/drier, etc.
