a/c compressor 1 from a civic 1 from a del sol, are they the interchangeable?
Got a ac compressor from a 94 civic DX or CX (not 100% sure which one) and one out of a 93 del sol S model. Are these compressors the same? I can look up the #'s on the civic when I get home and go to storage to find the del sol compressor. just wondering if someone on here knew if they were interchangeable. It would save me some time, no telling where the del sol one is in my storage building. Thanks in advance.

ok so this is what #'s I got off of each
-del sol compressor- TRF090: Model 2050: honda p# 38800-P06-A01
-civic dx/cx compressor- TRS090: Model 3057: honda p# 38800-P06-A02
they are close but not right on. The holes that the lines go in are in the exact spots and the compressors are visually identical so I think it may work, just wanted a second opinion.
-del sol compressor- TRF090: Model 2050: honda p# 38800-P06-A01
-civic dx/cx compressor- TRS090: Model 3057: honda p# 38800-P06-A02

'92 - '93 Used R12 refrigerant, '94+ use R134a. They're different. Get a '94+ compressor for a Civic/Del Sol/CR-V.

I never said it would work, you can convert an complete R12 setup to R134a, but you're going to run into issues with what you're trying to do. Oils are different IIRC, and I could be wrong but the two lines that connect to the compressor may not bolt up either.
