its gettin hot in da bay area and i dont have a/c, how much would it cost to get it done in a 92 civic?

depends.you can buy a complete used kit either from a junkyard,or i see people selling them on here from time to time.of course,you run the risk of getting a bad/worn out component.worth it to take the risk if you can get the whole setup for a good price.
i've seen a few civics with aftermarket A/C kits in them.not sure how much they go for.
i know that Honda DID sell a complete A/C kit for the 5th gen Civics.not sure if anybody still has them in stock though.i think they went for $700ish.
