Buzzing Noise

I have a annoying buzzing noise coming from my fuel FILTER I believe. The fuel pump has been double checked, it is good. I took a stethoscope to the filter and it humming obnoxiously. Am I hearing correctly? Can filters make a noise like this?

Possibly. If there is a restriction or a blockage.
