AEM CAI !!!!!
Ive had a weapon and an IceMan and took them out after a year.
Ive had the AEM in for a while, with no problems. The sound is better as well.
But it works. I dont have a dyno so I cant tell you if it increases power. All I know, is that it has done the job perfectly for over 2 years.

Re: to buyintake (Lookincrazy)
I currently Produce the BobTEK race division CAI system.. we use high quailty Aluminum foil and then we put the TORNADA system on it .. becuz you know thw TORNADO rocks .. but seriously either keep stock with a k&n drop in filter or the comptech box ..you can actually notice a difference with throttle response by going from stock intake box to a 3" aluminim pipe intake..so it's up to you

Injen RD series cold airs are great. In all honesty, for the single cams it does make a difference. The HP gain is not ""CRAZY", but the RD does produce more Torque and HP than baseline, and in comparison to many company's Injen produces higher gains. Do the research and you will see what I am saying.

I really like the Arospeed FMIC-lookalike intake. It's mounted down below on the front so it's kinda like a cold-air intake, y0. Also, it looks like an intercooler so people will think you have a turbo. I think you'll enjoy it. My friends think I'm a riceboy, but I'm really not. It's nice when I blow them away with my 1.5L supercharged, turbocharged, V-Tech Type SH-R GT-R. Part of what makes me win is the Arospeed intake.

Well, on several dyno tests on D16Z6 5G Civics, the Iceman made 3hp peak in both underhood and CAI mode, but in CAI mode, there was a 6hp gain at 4400rpm, which coincides with a louder engine note. The AEM made about 2hp peak, but there was some losses under 3500rpm. The Iceman did not have any losses in both modes.
Dyno tests were 4th gear runs on AEBS' 248C Dynojet.

Well, I can swallow that; I'm not about to argue with the dyno, but another thing to consider isn't the Iceman made of some type of plastic? I bought AEM instead cuz it just seemed to be constructed of a bit more durable material. What was their reasoning for that, because the polymer doesn't conduct as much heat or something? I suppose either way you slice it, they're both quality units. Just don't buy an APC intake or some goofy **** like that and you'll be alright
