buying used suspension....worth it?
found a suspension setup on ebay consisting of KONI yellows and NEUSPEED sport springs.
only thing is they have been used for 40,000 miles.
starting bid is $50....but is it even worth it?
**edit** here's a pic:

if you plan to own the car for a long time.. get some new and nice suspension..
swapping suspension is a waste of time and money.. so do it right the first time

Yah. Anytime you can save some cash go for it. Koni has really good warranty and if you can can a receipt from the original owner then your set. I recently had to do that with Tokico and they were EXCELLENT about the whole thing. I know it isn't relevant with Koni but I heard Koni is better than Tokico! Go for it. I always make sure the product is good though too. So if you can go look at them, buy them. Or make sure its a reputable seller. Draw up a contract with his/her info. Cheers!

Thanks for all the responses guys! well...I don't really want to take the auction away from the other bidder(s)...so i'll just keep looking/saving for my setup.
The fact that koni had a lifetime warranty which could be used to get new ones did come across my mind tho....good info

I bought my suspension set up used. But it only had 5k on it and i got to check it out while it was in a car before i bought it. Also it was adjustible so i was able to see the different settings.
But damn 40k is alot for suspension... but then again 50 bucks you could rebuild and pay less then buying it new.
