Buying Used Coilovers
I was fixing to purchase an 8 month old set of Ground controls for a little under $200. If the coilovers have been exposed to normal driving conditions do you think that it it would be a good idea to purchase them? Sorry for the noob question. I just wanted to know how GC coilovers held up over time and if it would be worth it t buy a used set.

Re: Buying Used Coilovers (leath213)
I've never had a set of ground controls, so I wouldn't know how well they hold up over time. I wouldn't buy used coilovers/springs though. The money you would save is minimal compared to the heartache you will have of putting them on, finding out they're shot, taking them off, and then buying new ones and putting them on. Do it right the first time. Just my .02 cents.

Re: Buying Used Coilovers (Tony Starks)
i got used gc before and you cant really tell a difference between used and new. BUt when it comes to shocks sometimes it is risky to buy. find out what rates they are first because if you buy new you can pick your rates....
