Default Buying tires for a EJ6 205/40/ZR17 80W ..... is the load index too low?

80W ... i heard thats like the load index or something...is that too low... ? How many people would be able to be in a 1996 honda civic dx 2dr coupe...if i got tires with an 80W load index... ? will the tires blow...

civics are rather light, if they would blow on that.. i don't think they'd work very well on any car period. i'm pretty sure you're safe. as for you're confusion with the letters and numbers, this should help
