buying a new motor
so i found this motor on craigslist. its a b16a2 motor. is there any way i can run the number to see whether the motor is stolen or not?

Grab the vin number and call your local highway police department. They should be able to verify if it's stolen or not. If the guy doesn't want to give you the number then walk away.
