would u guys buy a motor off someone else on thepartstader? some people sell GSR motors for pretty cheap and it sounds kinda fishy sometimes. any tips on what to look for if i were to buy a motor off someone else?

I wouldn't buy anything from anyone off of partstrader. From what I have been told there are a lot of scammers there.

Ask the person for his/her address, and try to stop by and physically look at the motor. i've sold a few stuff on thepartstrader but i doubt i'd buy anything. I'm probably one of the few nice people on there who won't rip buyers off!

I got ripped off $1400 trying to buy a longblock @ thepartstrader.. so my answer would probably be no!

I'm still waiting on a B18B longblock that's supposed to be shipped COD to me... lol. I bought this nearly 2 years ago. The motor that it was for has been run and taken apart already... stupid parts trader. I've sold stuff on it before though.

I only do pickup only off the partstrader. Do not buy from a stranger unless you know for sure they are trustworthy (if there are people you know that would vouch for them). Bunch of scammers on the thepartstrader.

Agree, unless you can go see it yourself, I wouldn't get it, especially a motor. Also papers for the motor. Many fockin thieves out there..
