Buying engine parts on Ebay
Would you? I've seen some good buys on there, but I hear alot of people talking about dumping junk there, too. I'm wondering if most of it isn't just crap someone screwed up. I don't need the aggravation, but can't afford top flight.
When I get my swap money, it will be hard to resist the heads and blocks on there.

I can't speak for most people here, but when it comes time to buy a new motor, I won't purchase a high dollar part like that unless I can touch it, inspect it, turn it, feel it first. Intakes and strut bars are one thing, a head is another.

Re: Buying engine parts on Ebay (psileepR)
ebay is a roll of the dice....
i just bought a em1 climate control, but it was only $30 + shipping, so even if i was getting scammed i wouldn't feel to pissed about it... but as far as buying an engine or car or even mechanical parts... i would never trust it unless the seller was local...
