buying an ek4 .... located... and ready to buy.. but need help...

im from australia and have located a ek4 with the b16a2 engine and just want to know how i can determine if the engine is a goner or not... like some minor basic hints to tell me if the engine is in good condition or not.... any help will be much appreciated !
