Buying ek hatch (HELP, HELP, HELP)
What's up guys I'm new to this forum. So I need some opinions on this hatch I might buy . I need to know wether I'm getting a horrible, bad, good, or great deal ...
(keep in mind iv only owned nissans, Ford, Volkswagen, and dodge . On top of that iv never really been a car enthusiast nor do I know much about performance mods..just the basics..) I'm looking for a decent Honda in hopes of becoming part of the Honda community/scene and gaining some basic knowledge about these cars ...
ok so this is a b series ls v-tec motor . Here are some mods, it's sitting on super tec springs . It has a morosco oil pan, eagle crank eagle rods, high compression pistons, cosmetic head gasket 81.5mm over bor and the head is fully built. Stage 2 skunk 2 cams, eagle fuel rail with 450cc injectors, eldebrock Victor x intake with a 70mm throttle body. Has a stage 3 clutch it has a short shifter and dc headers and a p28 red line ecu.... the owner is asking for 3,200...What do you think ?.. (Please Reply lol)

Advise against buying someone else's project. Especially when you know nothing about hondas to begin with. If i were you, i would buy a clean, stock, non modify honda. Then work on it to get familiar with it. Swap later in the future if you want.
but then again it is your money. Not saying buying all modified car are bad. But buying one that have full documentations of the build and properly done from someone who know exactly what they are doing, that is the key.
3200, ask yourself. What happen if 3 days from you buying it things start to take a dump? Then what? How much money or time will you invest into something you have no idea how to fix?
its just my opinion

Ugh, that car has all the signs of trouble: mix-matched paint, ill-fitting panels, cheap aftermarket parts, poor workmanship. If that car just had to a part of any deal, I'd offer ~2,000-2,500 and be buying it for parts only. I'd then try to find a clean relatively stock civic to put selective parts into.
