Buying 1994 CX hatch....Some questions.
Well, Im buying a 1994 CX hatch....obvisually..
This will be my 3rd honda (1993 Prelude SI, 1998 GS-R) and I have a daily driver first off.
This is going to be a race/project for me only... B18a/b turbo, I have the motor figured out already and half built...going to run Chrome
Now the chassis...How light can this thing be made to be? Im talking one race seat, shifter, gauges and wheel inside...light flywheel, light wheels, full lexan windows, no PS, no AC, light battery....
Im hoping to get 1600-1700lbs...Id even go ahead and do extensive chassis modification (redoing supports an option like it is on some domestics?)..
Any ideas? Is my goal realistic?
-Chris

If i have to put in a cage I will....thats gonna cost a few lbs.
It all depends on how power the motor ends up putting out.

Now, that weight seems a bit unrealistic without major modification, I've read where people strip out their entire interiors and they only get it down to like 1900ish. I could be wrong on this, but that's what I've read.
