Buy A Civic? Seriously?

Buy A Civic? Seriously?
I wa recently thinking of getting an S2k but just to many things that arent going to work for me with that car. I tried searching the top but just found 1800+ threads and couldnt narrow it down. Heres my questions:
I dont know much about any civics past 5th gen. I am looking into getting a 6th gen. I dunno if they change alot between years and models or not.
I just need some help learning about the models. Im canadian if it makes a difference. I want to get the lowest model possible that is the easiest to do a b18c1 swap with fair ease. So right now Im just looking for a 6th gen shell or a blown motor and want to swap then juice a b18c1 OR could buy a Candian Sir with teh b16 already there instead of the b18c1 and just start from that platform? Need help on the differences between years and models. Hope to become part of the clean community since it has become so large and Im getting offers on my "rice" car daily.
Thanks

Since you are going to swap, it really doesn't matter which 5G you get. Just ask yourself a few questions :
1 - hatch, 2dr or 4dr?
2 - Do you want amenities like power steering, a/c, sunroof, etc.

best bang for the buck: buy a D series, ex (for power options). then turbo it. then smoke vettes with a car you put together for under 8k.

I could care less about a/c and power steering. Is there really any differences between any models from 96-00? Headlight, tails, major weight stuff like that. Which would be the best model for a gsr swap?
I would only be doing the swap plus i/h/e and nitrous right away.
I just want something that is cheap on insurance (im 17) and wont be a pain in the *** to do a swap into (took 10hours for my zc)
And like I said Im canadian so it will be the canadian model that im buying I dunno if they vary as much any more form the UDSM models. Probable looking at a coupe because thats all I see and havent seen any sick hatches.
Would be a white car..

Something cheap on insurance you want a DX coupe or CX hatch not an SIR that is kinda on the steeper side of the spectrum and if your gonna swap right away then who cares what motor is in it now.

So a b18c1 will swap into all 6th gens easily? They dont need axles, mounts, custom cutting? Thought a lot would be needed. SO am I able to buy any model and drop in a gsr just as easy as any other model?
Still have no clue on differences between years
