busted fuel tank bolts
so I got this s96 civic coupe given too me and thing was pretty rough but I have a question for you guys . The kid that owned it had no idea what he was doing he had to change the fuel pump in it so not looking under the seat for the fuel pump cover he dropped the tank well in the process he SNAPED THE BOLTS THAT BOLT TO THE CHASSIE! What should I do here any ideas. I have the new straps for the tank so just seeing if anyone could give me some ideas. Thanks for your time

I'll post pics in a bit the weld nuts that where stock on the chassi it's self are busted off so prob do what you said and drill out and weld a nut in there with a new bolt and be done with it.

You might have an easier time with threaded rivets also called nut serts.
Rivet Nuts / Threaded Inserts | Rivets In Stock - Rivets & Rivet Tools
These seem to be easier to work with than welding a nut on. You just need the tool that crimps them into place.
