ok theres this sound in my car that is killing me. its like a knocking sound. and heres a list of what it CERTAINLY ISNT

-tie rods
-wheel bearing
-axles
-strut
-ball joint
-upper control arms

its coming from the driver side and its right in the region of where the pedals are...is it possible for a bushing to LOOK ok and still make noise? even if you cant shake it with ur hands. what sound does a bad strut mount make?
the sound only happens whem im going over bad roads, braking, and off the road. ive went under there and shaken the car around and the sound cannot be recreated. and the honda dealership doesnt know **** about **** when it comes from a car from the 90s

sometimes just shaking stuff wont show it. i would try to take that side apart and re assemble making sure everything is torqued correctly, and the bushings are tightened at ride height. While in there just look at everything and determine if anythings bad.

First thought would be the struts especially if its over bad roads. Can you feel alot of "bad" feedback in your steering wheel when you go over ruff sections in the road. @ alpha, if it was a bushing or linkage being loose you are right it might not shake by hand but while your driving it will make all kinds of noise, from the suspension working on doing its job..... But my .02 would be struts or front sway bar linkage(s).
